After searching on Craig's list almost every week for a few months now, and never being satisfied, I found a stroller on Amazon! At first, I wanted a 3-wheel jogging stroller...but then I had to be truly honest with myself and decided I'm probably not going to be jogging very often with it! Ha! I'm very pleased with my purchase...although it wasn't quite the $20 planned...but it rides really smoothly, folds nicely, turns sharply, and is very lightweight. Since I have to carry it up and down the stairs a lot, this works out perfectly. And...Traegon LOVES it! When I stopped to take a picture of him, he started squealing (which is his new way of throwing tantrums...quite unpleasant). Luckily he gave me a couple cute pictures (and a lot of grumpy ones); I'll post the happy ones though! :)
Hello! Just to introduce us, we are a family of three as of June 7th, 2010! Ben, Sarah and now baby Traegon. We LOVE playing outdoors, especially hiking. Traegon's first baby present was a pair of hiking sandals! Ben is an accountant and I am a stay at home mom. Traegon takes after his daddy as our 'Smiley Son' and we sure love him!

Mr. T and 9 months!
Okay...so...somewhere along the lines of life, I missed posting Traegon's 8 months. I can't even remember what he was doing at 8 months! So this has taught me that I need to try harder to post otherwise he'll have nothing, since I don't write a journal and pictures never get printed! His poor Aunt Joy (on a mission in Portugal) has yet to see one picture of her nephew since he was born. Ah! I know that when more children come, it will only get worse. So hopefully I can at least give our first child something...right?
Well, we haven't gone to the Dr. yet since he's 9 months today...but I did weigh him on our scale at home and he's 18.4 lbs. Yes, he's still pretty tiny comparatively, but he's come a long way since 6 lbs 2 oz! I do remember that his 8 months sailed by really smoothly. Its these odd months that are the tricky ones. He started getting teeth at 5 months and since then he's been pretty consistent with gaining a new pair of teeth every two months. This is what he's up to lately:
- Two more teeth (next to his top two and one interesting week! Boy I tell ya, this kid gets grumpy!)
- Propping himself up, then looks for applause
- Rolling everywhere around the house
- Rotating around on his tummy
- Saying "ya ya" "da da" "ma ma" "na na" "ba ba" Of course...not relating these to anything yet!
- Bouncing back on his bumbo...video to follow!
- Clenching his teeth until his head shakes (This makes for a lot of funny faces)
- Blowing spit bubbles
- Feeding himself puffs and holding his bottle
- Enjoying eating everything
- Bit me twice...once on the neck and one unaware finger
- Loves his crib (rolls back and forth with a huge smile while he gets his blankets, binkie, and mobile)
- Shaking his head back and forth when he's tired or falling asleep
- Enjoys toys for 30 seconds and non-toys such as cups, blown up bags (like a balloon), clothespins, pens...the basket for the toys...endless amount of entertainment!
- Bath time and splashing
- Sleeping through the night, most nights. And when he does wake up, its just so I can put his binkie back in! Can we say, spoiled??
- Sitting for only 5 minutes
- And last, but not least, (well at least what I can think of right now...) is the MoHawk! We called him Mr. T before we realized the similarities. Ha!

The following video is what he does almost every time I feed him. Not as often with his daddy. Even after we've moved him down to the floor to feed him, he still does this. :P
